It’s a small world… I’ve realized more than ever that the entertainment industry is so huge and so small at the same time.
There are so many interconnections and connections.
Don’t ever burn bridges, people. Just don’t do it. -

Phil Tippett's Mad God Project If you love Starship Troopers, Star Wars, Robocop or Jurassic Park, you have been affected by the work of the great Phil Tippett. It has been my fantastic honor to have worked with Phil and some of the amazing Tippett Studio crew on his personal project, MAD GOD, for the last few months. This is Phil’s return to his true stop-motion animation roots and has been something he has been working on for the last 20 years. Please help donate to the project! We are more than half-way to our goal of $40,000!!!!!!
When he talks about giving “razorblades to 4 yr-olds” he really means me. :P -

Recruiting Tip: Stay Humble Regardless of everything you accomplish, ALWAYS stay humble.
I have an inbox of rejection emails I have received over the years and I’m going to keep those even if I win 20 Academy Awards, BAFTAs, and Annies (wishful thinking but who knows?!). | | navigation » Older » Newer » Archive » Random » RSS about

My name is Emily. Currently a college student with BIG dreams of making the world a better and brighter place through the enchanting worlds of animated films. I'd like to become a Producer someday and be one of the geniuses behind films like How to Train Your Dragon, Toy Story, Up, Kung Fu Panda, and the list goes on... Here is the story of my journey!
Two summers ago, I interned at DreamWorks Animation and it changed my life forever. It gave me a true sense of direction and put me down the path that I am now. It's a wonderful feeling knowing exactly what you want to do in life! I volunteer for animation conferences, festivals, and societies. I teach a class at my university about the entertainment industry, in which I am always talking about animation. I also volunteer some time on the weekends to work on a stop-motion animation project with Phil Tippett at Tippett Studio. It really is a dream come true!
It's all about being young at heart! I was enamored with these films as a child and I want to do the same for millions of people someday. I'm so passionate about this industry that I would like to share my experiences with all of you!
Oh yeah... and I practice this thing called wushu. It's real life Mulan + Kung Fu Panda.
